Compassionate. Relational.
Trauma-Informed Therapy.
Are you feeling stuck in the “mud” of life?
Have you been feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by everything life has thrown at you? Despite being resourceful, intelligent, and motivated, it feels like there is always something knocking you off your axis or someone else to take care of before you can rest. You often find yourself thinking, “I just want to crawl under the covers to hide!” Most of the time it feels like your emotions are all over the place one minute, and the next minute you feel shut down and numb. You’re craving to find peace from all the internal noise. People comment about how kind and caring you are toward others, but you end up losing yourself while taking care of the people you love. It feels like you don’t even know who you are or what you want because you find yourself always putting others first. Or maybe you’ve been hurt so many times in relationships that you don’t know how to build connections with others and find it hard to trust people or yourself.
You want to feel whole, secure in your relationships, and comfortable in your own skin. You want to know your worth and stand up for yourself. You want to understand why you feel the way you do and why you keep ending up in the same unsatisfying relationships so you can start to build the life you want.
My name is Brittany Bodwell, and I want to help you feel reconnected to your inner sense of safety, wisdom, and confidence…
I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with the impact of relational and attachment-based trauma who are looking to find deep healing, healthier and more balanced relationships, and a deeper understanding of their inner world. I believe this healing can’t be done in isolation. We need an authentic, compassionate, nonjudgmental guide to help us navigate our way out of the darkness. If you’re looking for a guide, let’s connect. I would feel honored to walk the journey to healing with you.

“If you know how to make good use of the mud, you can grow beautiful lotuses. If you know how to make good use of suffering, you can produce happiness… And most of us have enough suffering inside and around us to be able to do that. We don’t have to create more.”
